# Blank page when resuming discourse app

When resuming the app, it shows a blanc page instead of my subscriptions. I have to force close the app to show the subscriptions again.
May be something to look into.
iOS 18.1.1 iPhone 16pro max.

I am referring tot the discourse app ( app for connecting multiple fora)
Via some searching came to this forum
This starter page is sometimes blank after resuming the app ( not having it closed with swipe-up).
When restarting ( after closing with swipe-up) is is ok.

Some of our community have been reporting the same issue on iOS and macOS, with Safari browser.
If they leave our Discourse site open as the active tab then close the browser for a period of time, when they come back they just get a spinner, the site never loads.
It’s as if something is disconnecting or timing out in the background, and the frontend UI is unaware of the disconnect.
Could this also be related to the hub-app issue reported here?

@Richie that looks a little bit different, it’s not completely a blank page. And it also looks like you’re on the PWA, which may have its own challenges.
