# Block Moderation on Admin Category

Hi!

Is it possible to build a category that moderators can’t see or act on? Our site’s admins need to be able to discuss topics outside of what moderators can see to protect confidential information and conflicts of interest. Unfortunately, I’m already using category moderation for groups that are below global moderators but above users.

Yes, when you create a new category you can change who has access from the security tab:

If you remove other groups, and only add admins… then moderators would not be able to view the category.
