# Bookmark shortcut \`b\` does nothing

When I open a topic and press `b`, I expect the bookmark dialog box to open but nothing happens.

Same here on meta.

but `f` works has expected.

I have been working on keyboard shortcuts for bookmarks, I will make sure I address this at the same time.

@evantill I have just had a chance to look at this now. Even with the new bookmarks feature disabled just pressing `b` when entering a topic does nothing, I have to first select a post with `j`/`k`. Though the issue of the modal not showing does occur once the post has been selected, so I am fixing that part up now.

As you said, `f` works as expected.
