# Broken images with 'embed truncate' disabled

I suspect that you are running into the issue that’s outlined here: [Fix broken images for posts created by the WP Discourse and RSS plugins](https://meta.discourse.org/t/fix-broken-images-for-posts-created-by-the-wp-discourse-and-rss-plugins/160773). That guide gives a couple of workarounds for the issue. There’s a detailed explanation of the issue in my second post in the topic.
