# Broken Link Checking in Discourse

I am wondering what the best current way to check the entire forum for Broken Links is. I saw the post about the `discourse_link_checker`. But I see that it’s almost two years old. Is the a different way to achieve this now?

I assume you are referring to [this post](https://meta.discourse.org/t/forum-link-checker/122679)?

I doubt anything has changed since then. Checking all posts for broken links is a difficult task, and it’s not something our customers have asked us for.

We do have a policy of downloading remote images, and so-called “baking” oneboxes in, so if the link dies (and it was oneboxed) you will still have the summary in the reply itself.
