# Broken Wizards

Hiya. I arise from my grave.
So, on a self-hosted Discourse forum, I use the Wizard plugin for some things, which has served me pretty well when it comes to baby-proofing.
It’s been a while since the forum was updated (since March), so I had requested that it be updated, which it was. Unfortunately, after the update, my Wizards suddenly do NOT work as they did before. Let me explain.
On an administrator account, I am able to click on New Topic and access the wizard. However, if I use a regular account and click on New Topic in the same category, instead of directing me to the wizard, it just opens the composer on the same page.
No idea what happened to cause it, nor can I upload a video due to being a new user (har), but if there are any other questions, go nuts.

I assume you’re using the [Custom Wizard Plugin 🧙](https://meta.discourse.org/t/custom-wizard-plugin/73345). Since it’s unofficial, you’d be better off posting queries regarding the plugin in that topic.
On a separate note, there was a recent fix 2 days ago. Did you update before that? Perhaps you’d want to update again?

I don’t recall updating before that. Everything was updated in rebuilding Discourse, yada, yada.
I’ll create a reply in the topic you linked. Appreciate that.
