# 在 IE 11 中强制使用“兼容性视图”时显示浏览器版本过旧的消息

My users are getting the following in IE 11 (Discourse version v1.9.0.beta2 +218) on Windows 10:

I don’t see this on meta or [https://try.discourse.org/](https://try.discourse.org/) in IE 11 on the same browser, so I thought that maybe a plugin is causing the problem. When I [enter into safe mode](https://meta.discourse.org/t/how-to-use-discourse-safe-mode/53504?source_topic_id=52647) and disable everything, I still get the error message.

Any additional troubleshooting suggestions to help determine what might be happening?
