# Bug: changing the email subject for some templates is ignored

I changed the subject for the “User Posted PM” email template to `[%{email_prefix}] [PM] %{username} sent you a private message` but it is ignored and is still using `[%{email_prefix}] [PM] %{topic_title}`
Using 1.8.0.beta9. Editing other email template subject lines seems to work, this one is ignored.
Also, the line `To unsubscribe from these emails, click here.` is always added at the end of the message, regardless of what I put in the template body. Can we fix that too and allow us to change it (or even remove it)?

I strongly recommend that you consult a lawyer before you attempt to remove an “unsubscribe”

As for `username ` vs. `topic_title` that very well could be a bug if you are certain you are editing the correct template.

I was afraid someone would pick on that aspect 🙂 … it’s private company forum where everyone is actually obliged to be signed-up and participate.

I also report that this bug happens and its not fixed. I am trying to remove prefix from the subject of emailed PM and I used `%{topic_title}` as the subject. However its not changed. I can see that many other email templates are the same.

I also tried text customization section and it didn’t change the subject. I think I was only able to change digest email subject.

Des progrès ont-ils été réalisés à ce sujet ?
En particulier, peut-on supprimer la ligne « Pour vous désabonner de ces e-mails, cliquez ici » plutôt que de la coder en dur ?
Certains d’entre nous cliquent accidentellement sur ce « cliquez ici », car il ressemble trop aux e-mails provenant d’autres forums qui incluent un lien indiquant « pour consulter le message correspondant en ligne, cliquez ici » (ou une formulation similaire), incitant ainsi les utilisateurs à cliquer par réflexe. Dans mon cas, c’est particulièrement gênant, car il s’agit d’un forum privé où les membres doivent obligatoirement rester abonnés.

@neil et @awesomerobot travaillent à une refonte de notre support par e-mail pour améliorer la personnalisation des thèmes, de sorte que cela pourrait être résolu dans le cadre de ce travail.

Veillez s’il vous plaît à inclure le texte « pour vous désabonner, cliquez ici » dans le modèle plutôt que dans le code 🙂

[J’ai corrigé cela aujourd’hui](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/commit/34f564acd657440b686c7feaef9f471272fc4b54). Avec cette correction, les objets d’e-mails personnalisés pour les notifications concernant les sujets et les réponses seront utilisés.

Vous pouvez personnaliser le texte « unsubscribe\_link » depuis l’administration pour supprimer le lien. Il est ajouté partout, il fait donc partie des modèles.
