# Bug: unable to use arrow keys in dropdown

Majority of the drop downs use up/down arrow keys, this one only allows tabbing

I don’t think this is unique in the composer, this menus also behaves the same way:

Will ping the member experience team who can have think about the problem.

I agree that we should strive for consistency, but it is somewhat tricky here depending on what you are doing

I am 99% a keyboard only user so consistency with dropdowns enhances the keyboard experience. For example, the category and tab drop downs only accept up/down arrows now (no tabbing) so I expected that behavior with the other drop downs throughout the site.
