# Build Poll is not shown from gear menu for new topics

When you click on the gear icon on a new topic in our instance, Build Poll is not shown. In fact only Toggle Unlisted and Hide Details are shown. My site settings seem to be set to enable pollls. What would cause this?

You posted in the #Support > WordPress support category (meaning stuff related to [WP-Discourse](https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-discourse/)).

Is there anything in your issue that make you think it could be related to WP-Discourse in anyway? If not, the topic should be moved into #Support. 🙂

Does your issue happen when you use enable [safe mode](https://meta.discourse.org/t/53504?silent=true)?
