What I sometimes do is: if a discussion on Discord us turned into something heavy with good idea and possible actions, then I copy-paste the entire chat into an AI, and ask to summarise. That gets posted to Discourse, with a link to the first and last Discord post that contain the discussion. That way people can verify the contents, and we also preserve anything that was of value.

It’s more _ad hoc_, since people have to think about copying it.
