# Bulk Updating Categories Without Bumping/Notifying

In two years of organicallying running our community, I want to reorganize a lot of content and reduce the clutter of categories. I’d like to re-organize categories of old topics without making them look new or notifying (I have activated setting to not notify for laer)
I have been looking at the bulk edit tools, if I understand this correctly

If I bulk edit from /latest I will not bump dates… does this hold true for /latest in a category?

Since I posted that, there’s now a site setting to control this. So step 1 is to ensure `create revision on bulk topic moves` is _disabled_. Then yes, it’ll work from `/latest` or a category list (or any other view)
