# Button "New Topic" not visible on android

Hi,  
a user of our [forum](https://forum.step.esa.int/) contacted me that he can’t post from his mobile. He is using android. He can’t see the New Topic button. It is not displayed.That’s the screenshot he send.

It looks like a mixture of the desktop and the mobile version.  
What could have gone wrong?  
We are using version 2.5.0.beta3 of Discourse.  
For me the page is shown correctly. Tested with Edge and Chrome on Android.

maybe they have accidentally enabled desktop view either in their browser or in discourse. You can ask them to verify the same.

Thanks for the swift reply.  
That’s what I thought too. So I enabled desktop view on my device and it looked totally different as what the user has shown. However, I’ll ask the user now.

The user switched back and forth between the modes. But it didn’t help.
