# Button texts, words and labels not displaying

In user cards and in user profiles, buttons for Message and Chat have no label, only the icon.

As you can see, the user card text is also not displaying correctly.

Apparently, when I click the + Create Topic, the button text disappears for a second or two.

That’s not all! Search is also wonky.

Highlighting text in the composer also causes the highlighted text to be blank. I have been experiencing this for a while already.

Everything except the last issue started happening today. I’m on mobile, specifically, an Android A14, using Chrome.

I can’t repro (tested default and meta branded theme), neither on mobile (android chrome) or desktop (chrome).

Interesting. I’m on the Meta Branded theme.  
Even more interestingly, I can’t repro any of them now.  
However, the highlighting issue can still be reproduced. If you highlight a large chunk of text, it happens. Then, if I highlight a word, that word is also “invisible”. This happens when posts have a lot of characters and text. Can repro in the topic post.
