> Previously, pressing \`c\` on a page without a "New Topic" button, such as a topic… page, opened the composer on the shared \`new\_topic\` draft key without a draft sequence. Since #31828, the composer no longer loads an existing draft or its sequence when it opens, so the server read its saves as sequence 0, and any older \`new\_topic\` draft either made them all fail with "Draft is being edited in another window" or was silently overwritten.
>
> This change opens the composer with \`openNewTopic()\`, as the "New Topic" button does, so the shortcut always starts a fresh draft under its own key. Drafts already saved under the shared key stay in the user's drafts and can still be resumed, so no migration is needed.
