# Cached search results box height too large when window is narrow

Use the search button to perform a search with window width of 800px or so, then click the button twice to hide and reshow the results. The resulting search box height is too large, resulting in extra white space.

I am getting this result on both Chrome and Edge.

I think we might have to live with this one for a while. I spent over an hour on it and can’t figure it out. Something is causing the search panel to report the incorrect height the first time it shows up after being hidden. The second time it renders everything is fine.
