# Calendar subscription URLs for external calendar apps

Maybe? All I am asking for here is a button on calendar pages to the user prefs, for subscribing to calendars. I don’t plan to install the custom wizard plugin and am not asking for a one-click creating of events from the calendar page. That does sound fragile indeed given how events works in Discourse, though I can see the attraction!

You can use the TC to have a button to the user’s calendar subscription page from `/upcoming-events` - in fact that is its primary purpose, and it should be quite robust.
Using the Wizard is an optional (and more fragile) extension.
It seems like there is quite a bit of interest; I see if I can get a proper Topic for the TC up.

After some real world use, I’ve discovered a minor (but significant issue).
When people try it out (me included), they tend to grab the first URL - i.e. Bookmarks - and successfully use it.
However, the site events that they are expecting don’t appear. And so they come and compain to me, the admin!
To make it easier for us falible humans, would you be open to changing the order so that `Discourse Calendar - All Events` is the first option, and Bookmarks the last?
I’ve hackily added this to my TC now:

For those sites that want to prevent sharing calendar events via URL to outside calendars, is there an OFF feature somewhere?
