# Can a Theme have a quote display real name instead of username?

Continuing the discussion from [Display real name instead of username in a quote?](https://meta.discourse.org/t/display-real-name-instead-of-username-in-a-quote/63447/11):
When `prioritize username in UX` is unchecked, posts display the Real Name before the username, but quotes of those posts display the username and not the real name at all.
Is there some way to solve this with a theme, or is a plugin required? And, regardless which solution is preferable, a pointer to some similar example would be much appreciated.

Not really, we need to amend the markdown pipeline to make this happen.
