# Can admin/moderator reply to a user's post before approval?

Can an admin/moderator reply to a post author’s post that is in review for approval without approving it, and can that post only be visible to the admin/moderator and the post author?

Hi Om Patil,

~~No, It’s not possible. Pending topics aren’t even in the `topics` database table and we can’t interact with them in such a way. 🙂~~

I was wrong. My very secret Jammiest sources tell me that this can be done through the **Revise** option from the review queue:
