# Can Google Calendar be One-Boxed?

I’ve read the Google-Calendar plugin post, but it is now not working anymore.
I’ve seen the Google Maps One-Box, it works perfectly now.
I really wander if Google Calendar can work with One-Box ??

Yes it works, but the embed only appears if you take the plain URL from the “Embed This Calendar” box in Gcal settings

If you click on “Customize etc.” and paste the long URL with all the parameters separated with “&” then the important bit (src=6hnjp743blahblahblah) doesn’t make it through.

Interesting, I found that in a discourse that has installed the plugin “Google Calendar Onebox” like mine, it does not work. But in a discourse that hasn’t installed plugin “Google Calendar Onebox”, it works.
Seems, google calendar has been integrated in the discourse system.

Why, Even in this Discourse website, it doesn’t work.

And I’ve tried discourse 1.6( **It works** ), discourse 1.7.0 ( **it works** ), discourse 1.8( **doesn’t work** )
And this discourse([meta.discourse.org](http://meta.discourse.org), **doesn’t work** )
Well, actually, I don’t know what’s wrong. Maybe because the discourse version? maybe because some plugin conflict.

I have tested it also in 1.7.2 stable and doesnt work on there anymore. If it was put in there prior to what has changed it will still show but if you edit it or put in a new one it doesnt.
I wonder if this is anything to do with the changes to the gdocs onebox that took place.

literally 5 seconds after updating to 1.8, another moderator edited our calendar page, resulting in a re-cook and now a broken calendar \>\_\<

And use the iframe instead since there is a setting for embedding (`allowed iframes`)?
