# Can I accept the first post of a topic as an answer?

Is there support for me posting a topic, then going back & updating it as solved, without a second post in the topic? (and related email to people)

A topic has to have at least one reply so it can be marked solved.

I suggest you reply to said topic and accept that as the solution. There are currently no plans to add support for accepting the first post as an answer.
