# Can I add new fields to a topic?

Hey there,

Take a look at [Topic Templates](https://meta.discourse.org/t/what-are-topic-templates/38295). I’m not sure if it can auto-insert GeoIP and Nation values, but the answer seems to be

You might be able to make a custom bot auto-reply them. I don’t know.
