# Can Plugins Be Added To Basic Docker Install

Hi, I’m wondering if I install Discourse onto Digital Ocean with the basic docker guide (the install in under 30 minutes one), will I be able to easily add plugins? Or am I limited to just what the docker image has set up?

Yes, you can add all the plugins you want.

Word of caution. A lot of the older ones are now broken, I strongly recommend you test them in dev before installing them on your live site.
