# Can posts be set to empty?

I came across a [similar need](https://meta.discourse.org/t/topic-ratings-plugin/39578/330) using the [Topic Ratings plugin](https://meta.discourse.org/t/topic-ratings-plugin/39578), where I’d like users to be able to omit the post content entirely **if** a rating is submitted.
