# Can posts in the review queue be modified?

As [Allow editing posts whilst in review - Forum Feedback - Tor Project Forum](https://forum.torproject.org/t/allow-editing-posts-whilst-in-review/7729?u=rokejulianlockhart) and [Where can a user find the post that was rejected by the moderator? - #18 by rokejulianlockhart](https://meta.discourse.org/t/where-can-a-user-find-the-post-that-was-rejected-by-the-moderator/165671/18) explain, in instances with review queues, the inability to edit a post after it has been submitted is a serious annoyance. I can’t understand why modification, once submitted, is restricted until it has been accepted.

@JammyDodger, I can’t see how - an edit after acceptance is the same as a moderator accepting a post that’s being edited, surely?
