# Can title be expanded on the main page?

I am looking for the feature where community can see the details with the title right there instead of clicking and then viewing it ?

Not entirely sure what you mean. Could you please post a screenshot of another app/forum that does this?

For example,

- I posted the title “Can title be expanded on the main page?” and the detail “I am looking for the feature where community can see the details with the title right there instead of clicking and then viewing it ?”.
- Details should give all the functionality you give right now.
- I want to see both title & detail together on the main community page.
- The comments you replied should work as it is working now.

Well this is my idea which I want to customize in my forum. Just checking whether can it be done without code change ?

Are you saying you want to show a summary of the post - under the post title on the main page?

It only currently does it for pinned posts -

Setting for it is -  
show pinned excerpt (mobile / desktop)

Look at the [Quora](http://www.quora.com) I want to achieve similar UX where admin can set so community can see summary of the post on the main page.

That’s not currently possible. Someone would need to either create a PR to add a setting for it if its accepted by the team here or you would need a plugin created.
