Can we completely disable "Body is invalid; try to be a little more descriptive"

Hello, I would like to completely disable the “Body is invalid; try to be a little more descriptive” check.

I have tried setting “body min entropy” to 2, or even 0, and I still get this error message when I try and post a message containing something like “UNSUBSCRIBE” (which is the entire contents of the message).

Is it possible to do this?

Why exactly are you posting “UNSUBSCRIBE” as the body of a post…?

I don’t think that is particularly relevant, I appreciate Discourse’s encouragement to keep conversations relevant, but in this case its getting in the way of my forum’s self expression. Is there a way to turn it off?

To answer the question, its an inside joke among friends; carried over from the old Mailman days. When a thread gets too long or is being unproductive, someone typically responds ‘UNSUBSCRIBE’, as in, “get me off this list”.

This setting may also help when a topic is designated as a quick-form chat.

Email posts…I can see the usefulness especially if their other emails allow users to unsubscribe this way.
