# Can we get a Docker Hub Container Image?

It would be nice if there was a official docker hub repo so we can deploy with tools like [http://tutum.co](http://tutum.co) I realize this was discussed awhile back but this continues to be a disadvantage for those of us wanted to use cloud orchestration tools like Tutum.

The situation since [the last discussion](https://meta.discourse.org/t/can-discourse-ship-frequent-docker-images-that-do-not-need-to-be-bootstrapped/33205) hasn’t changed. Deploying discourse involves custom-building a Docker image specifically configured for the site that’s being served. That means that a generic docker hub image isn’t possible. If you want to help change the situation, I’d recommend getting in touch with [the people who talked about getting this done](https://github.com/discourse/discourse_docker/issues/186) and contribute to that work.
