I’m trying to build a community like reddit, but with discourse features. Can I post topics that redirect to other URLs ? Thanks

No. That is not how Discourse works at the moment (nor do I believe there are any plans to do so). Discourse is about encouraging conversation and dialog…having a topic that redirects solely to an external page defeats this goal. Additionally, there is no interface to get into the topics comments…

No, I was looking for actually sending you to another website.

The “External URL” option offers what I think you’re asking for. Maybe post a more distinct example of your goal?

It’s basically like reddit. You can post links instead of topics.
