# Cannot delete banner post

I’ve just run into this exact issue, running [v2.1.0.beta2 +289](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/compare/fe230f29cd15fe64fc40fb9cec5362784b1641db...tests-passed). Not sure if my case is related to server migration or not.

My only workaround was to create a new banner topic, unpin topic, then finally delete it.
