the missing preview button came up on our forums as well. I understand that there is an alternative in the form of the Mobile Composer Preview and that the officially intended replacement for the preview is the rich text editor.
For maintainability reasons we’re cautious about adding a lot of components to our forums but we noticed that the rich text editor doesn’t support some of the features our users use so it can’t be used for previewing those. For example if you use markdown color tags like [color=red]some red text[/color] and try to switch to the rich text editor for previewing you get this error message:
Are there plans to improve the markdown features the rich text editor supports or should we rely on the mobile composer preview linked above if we want to preview posts like that?
