Hello, for some reason myself (an admin) nor any of my users can change profile pictures/avatars despite “Allow users to upload custom profile pictures”, gravatar settings, and external system avatars being enabled. Check your `authorized extensions` site setting. If you remove `jpg`, `jpeg`, and `png` from that list, users will not be given the option to upload a profile picture. ---

this was 100% it, thank you. Strange that it took away gravatar as well. ---
