It’s not hard. You can just make a backup, or do [Move a Discourse site to another VPS with rsync](https://meta.discourse.org/t/move-a-discourse-site-to-another-vps-with-rsync/43812). You have nothing to lose since your existing site stays intact. It’s the safest possible way forward.
