Make sure that your kernel is the most updated version (dist-upgrade) before installing the extras package. You can also try updating to 14.04, then: curl -sSL https://get.docker.io/ubuntu/ | sudo sh Note that you can try to run the above script as-is for 13.04, and it may work.
