I’ve obviously made the catastrophic mistake of enabling 2FA with this discourse community thing, I’m now logged out of a 5 year old account for infinite flight, I was randomly logged out and tried logging back in and now its asking for a $25 physical security key, how can I get the 2FA disabled? why aren’t there any other ways to log in and authenticate? This has never happened before, please help

You would need to contact the admin of that particular forum. You can normally find the email in the forum’s about page `[YourSite]/about`
They should be able to disable 2FA for you.

Because that would defeat the purpose of having 2FA ?
