# Can't Manually Block/Whitelist an IP Address

A moderator at our instance tried to add an IP address to the blocked list, but nothing happens. It isn’t added (as far as I can tell) and there is no feedback. And the drop-down which I’m sure used to give options for Block/Allow no longer does so.

I updated my dev and test machine to latest and can repo. Can’t try this on Try as I don’t have Moderator abilities.
