# Carelessly splitting a solved post to a new topic breaks things

This is resolved by a recent update that will notify users when they attempt to move a post that is marked as the solution out of the topic:

If users choose to proceed, the post will no longer be marked as a solution and the previously solved topic will return to unsolved state.
