# Category Description not working properly

I’ve read [How do I force a refresh of a category description?](https://meta.discourse.org/t/how-do-i-force-a-refresh-of-a-category-description/296362)
and tried the solution offered with no luck. My typed in Description text is not appearing at the top of the Category page.
If it helps, attempting to edit _currently in place_ description text does not flow through to the Category page either.

I’ve seen this one several sites.
The category description is displayed on the category page only if there is a category image.
Edits to the category description topic show up in the topic and even in the json for the category, but not in the category display.
When I have edited from A to B to C I have seen B get displayed after some period of time, edit the text to C and then see text A again on reload.
This seems like a bug but I can’t figure out just what it is.

Yeah, this is still an issue - and the refresh of the page / cache doesn’t seem to fix it any more.
However, this does:
