Is there any way to change the slug for a locked category? Every time we try to change the slug, we get a 500 Internal Error. I also can’t find a way to unlock the category.
Can you try performing the action that is causing the error and then looking at Admin/Logs/Error Logs for a related error message? Any information you can share about the error would be helpful.
Locked categories are categories that have had security permissions set on them. To remove the security permissions, click the Security tab on the category’s edit modal and then set the permissions to look like this:
