# Category Permissions - Creating Them

Is there anyway to create new permission types?

I’m trying to have a way where one could only see their topic and view theirs. They can’t see other peoples… If this is possible.

Use group messages for this, not topics.

Have people create messages to a `@support` group… then

1. All members of `@support` can see it
2. Users who send messages to `@support` can see the messages.
