# Category spread in digests

I am using the term group in the generic sense here, not the feature in Discourse.

We aren’t actually using the groups feature yet, though we are likely to explore it after the [messaging/mentioning split](https://meta.discourse.org/t/split-into-two-settings-who-can-message-and-mention-this-group/41203).

I still think some basic anti-affinity feature that does not rely on notification preferences would be valuable.
