# Censored words not being censored while under \[code\] tag

The censored words i added to my community are not being censored inside a [code] tag. If i type the censored word outside like a normal post it works fine.

Any one else getting this as well?

We generally don’t process stuff inside code blocks, so I’d say this is by design at the moment..

Sounds fair enough, but it really doesn’t serve the purpose of “censoring” if folks can still use it under a code tag. I hope it added to discourse as a feature. In the near future.
