Hello, I already have Discourse on example.com , what do I have to do to change it to community.example.com ?

yes, i’ve used that before When i first hosted a domain on namecheap, it was a while till realising that in the record’s host column, for A record example.com host would be @ for community.example.com host would be community

From my recall yes. At first was trying to put sub name with domain name. In the A record just need the sub name prefix.

yes, it’s differnet with the CNAME and TXT records from the SMTP provider into namecheap. However the MX (recieving at SMTP provider) records either need @ or sub name prefix, as the host.

Change from example.com to community.example.com
