# Change Meta tags or add code

I would like to verify my site with google webmasters, how can i quickly insert a html meta tag into the pages?

Go to **Admin** \> Customize \> CSS/HTML and create a new customization in order to add your meta tag in the `</head>`.

Hey, i’m also trying to do this. Where do i find the CSS/HTML tab. It doesn’t seem to be in the Customization category anymore.

It’s the button here under admin \> customize \> themes (you have to select a theme from the left first)

You know, if you have google analytics configured, then the same account with google analytics access should be able to use that as a verification method, without adding additional code to your site.
