# Change "new topic" text for specific category/s?

Hi, has anyone been able to change the “new topic” button text for specific category/s?

I found a [thread from 2015](https://meta.discourse.org/t/changing-text-of-new-topic-button-on-a-single-category-page/30135) going over this but it seems the solution in that thread no longer works.

It’s possible now with [Customize new topic button text](https://meta.discourse.org/t/customize-new-topic-button-text-based-on-category-or-tag/269086) theme component. 👍
