'메시지 유령(message ghosts)'이 있는 일부 그룹에서는 이 방법으로 작동하지 않습니다. 이러한 그룹은 다음 쿼리로 식별할 수 있습니다(그룹 상호작용 설정에서 메시징이 제한되어 있는 경우):

SELECT id, name, has_messages, messageable_level
From groups
Where messageable_level < 10
AND messageable_level <> 3
AND has_messages = true
ORDER by id

groups 테이블을 해킹하여 이 값도 강제로 초기화할 수 있습니다(물론 Rails 콘솔에서, 먼저 백업하세요!).

 Group.where(id: XXX).update_all(has_messages: false)

이것이 작동하지 않거나 되돌아간다면, topic_groups와 topic_allowed_groups 테이블도 정리해야 할 수 있습니다:

 TopicGroup.where(group_id: XXX).destroy_all
 TopicAllowedGroup.where(group_id: XXX).destroy_all
