# Change the error message to something describable

i couldnt login before while, because the message was saying when i logged in with my cookies turned off :- “unknown error” , can u change that to “please turn on your cookies” or any understandable message describing the issue/error?

because disabling cookies was the problem. thnx

Perhaps but people who disable cookies are by definition advanced users and they should be familiar with things being broken.

Not sure if everybody who is capable of disabling cookies or installing some cookie-blocking browser plugin understands all possible implications of this - or are capable of understanding an ‘unknown error’ message.
