# Changes in the text editor?

In [safe mode](https://meta.discourse.org/t/53504?silent=true), it looks the same, but it works fine in the private window and app, which is a huge relief 😅 Thank you so much! If this change were permanent, I’d have a huge issue to deal with.

I just found out this was caused by the [tl;dv](https://tldv.io/) extension for Chrome. Is the only solution to turn it off?
