# Changing custom user field description

I’ve been looking everywhere for how to change this. I need to update the description for a public user custom field, but I can’t find anywhere this exists beyond where it’s displayed. Creating a new field doesn’t give me the option to include a description, either.

Specifically, I’m talking about the description under the Pronoun box:

How do I change this?

Did you try `/admin/customize/user_fields`?
