What would I like done?
Hi I’m looking for someone who has both a good taste and a good understanding of discourse to pretty up our discourse instance! I can offer some references!
When do I need it done?
one or two days
What is your budget, in $ USD that you can offer for this task?

You will maybe need to provide some samples of what you’re maybe looking for.

I could be wrong but I suspect you are going to need to multiply that offer by at least a factor of 10 to attract a freelancer.

Indeed for any customized work.
Depending on their community’s focus maybe even just a few #Customization > Theme component might give the boost their looking for. Or a theme maybe with a couple of extra TC.
Not enough info to base any feedback on. As “Good Taste” can be highly subjective.

It’s an empty forum, so what im looking for now is just a couple of theme components and minor customizations and just generally someone who would have a good taste.
If we saw that our users will use the forum, we will of course pour a lot more money into it! now it’s mostly to test demands!

Have you explored the #Customization > Theme category?
At the bottom of the sidebar you can in part preview many #Customization > Theme.
Having some details on your forum’s focus and so to speak type. Can greatly help.
As well.as some details. If you’re self hosted you have a fair flexibility to even use #Customization > Plugin
Most #Customization > Theme component you can preview via a link in Theme creator.
With some info we could likely help you in the free advice side of things with recommendations.
